Learn to describe a selection of different types of music, how they make you feel, and what happens when you go and watch something ‘live’.

Who? This class is for Upper-Intermediate members. This one is for the music lovers out there. Do you know your rap from rock and roll? Do you know your dance from your dubstep? Do you know your metal from your musak? If you have no idea what we’re talking about, then this is the lesson for you!

What? In this lesson, we’ll start off by looking at some useful vocabulary for describing what happens when you go to a gig or concert to watch someone perform music. Next, we’ll learn the most important phrases you’ll need when you want to describe a piece of music or a song, including the most popular ‘genres’ or types of music out there. Finally, we’ll review a few songs and see what you think of the current and classic hits. Book Now»
