The Key to Success
Learn how to describe successful projects and tasks in terms of goals, aims and milestones.
Who? This class is for Pre-Intermediate members. We all have to deal with lots of different projects and tasks in work and our daily-life, and one of the most important things we can learn is to evaluate how successful or unsuccessful we have been. If you’re interested in avoiding mistakes in the future and making sure that you let other people (especially your boss) know what you’re doing right, then this is the class for you!
What? In this class, we’ll look at three different ‘success stories’. The first is about a project which tried to increase compliance in the workplace. The second is a rags to riches story about someone who appeared on the X-Factor and how it changed their life. After this, we’ll look at how one executive from IBM learned from his experiences. Finally, we’ll use the language from all of these stories to learn how to describe our own real-life success stories.
